muse tour datesMUSE Ready For 2013 Global Concert Tour :
IThe band MUSE is back with new music and a 2013 concert tour that will span the globe. This year's MUSE tour dates take them around the world and into about 50 different global venues. The MUSE tour will begin in the middle of February and is on schedule to have their end show be in mid September at the 'Rock in Rio' in Rio de Janeiro Brazil. MUSE actually just recently released their latest album 'The 2nd Law' and by no surprise, it's doing very well in both sales and reviews.  2 songs from this album are especially popular; the big hit is 'Madness' (see video below) and the other is 'Supremacy' (see video below too). These 2 videos alone on YouTube have combined views of over 30 million! So the band has not lost its step at all and they are as popular as ever, if not more.

Many of the MUSE concerts have already sold out, so check the tour dates over carefully, pick a show or two that fits your schedule and get your concert tickets now. If you wait too long, you may miss them and a true MUSE fan would never let that happen. You can catch them all over The US, Canada, The UK, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Germany, Norway, Finland, Japan, France, Italy ... whew! They have some busy tour schedule ahead of themselves. Muse fans enjoy!

If you thought Muse was popular before, hold on to your hats because this new album is getting a very warm reception. Muse Biography
It was 1994 when Muse was born and it took almost ten years for the progressive rocker band Muse to break through in the United States. Even though there were initial muse biographycomparisons to Radiohead, Muse marched on with its mix of apocalyptic imagery and sci-fi guitar work, and within several years, the group went on to become one of the biggest rock groups in the entire world.

Muse's first album appeared in 1999 named ‘Showbiz’ and was recorded by British producer John Leckie (Stone Roses, Public Image Ltd.) and released stateside on Madonna's Maverick Records imprint; despite such taut singles as "Sunburn" and "Muscle Museum" — both of which featured the creeping guitar lines and distressed vocals of frontman Matt Bellamy — Showbiz failed to make much of an impact in the U.S. The band's follow-up, Origin of Symmetry (2001) introduced more keyboards and pianos to the group's sound, resulting in overwrought but nonetheless engaging singles like "Bliss." Though it was a critical an commercial hit in the U.K., Maverick did not issue the album in America, and Origin wouldn't receive a proper stateside release until 2005.

In 2002, Muse put out a double-A side single, "Dead Star"/"In Your World," as well as the live album Hullabaloo Soundtrack. But it wasn't until 2004 that the group finally made a large push in the United States, with a set at that year's Coachella festival in support of Absolution (Number 107, 2004). The album found the band inching closer toward Queen territory, especially on the theatrical "Time Is Running Out," a doomsday anthem which garnered radio play in the United States and helped the band earn a spot on that summer's Curiosa tour. The band's next album, Black Holes & Revelations (Number Nine, 2006), was its most idiosyncratic album yet, with songs such as the robotic dance-club hit in "Supermassive Black Hole" (Number Six Modern Rock, 2007) and the pop ballad "Starlight" (Number Two Modern Rock, 2007). The album's high point, "Knights of Cydonia" (Number Ten Modern Rock, 2006), is a mish-mash of spaghetti-western guitar and "Bohemian Rhapsody"-style vocals and, like the best Muse songs, it is audacious enough to work. In March 2008 the band released HAARP: Live At Wembley, a live recording of the band's June 2007 show at Wembley Stadium that debuted at Number 47 on the Billboard Top 200.
